Monster Hunter Portable 2nd CG Movie

Monster Hunter Portable 2ndOne of the main reasons I bought Monster Hunter Portable (or Monster Hunter Freedom in the West) was its CG movie. I am sure many PSP fans still remember the fantastic looking opening intro of the game. While there isn’t any CG trailer this time around for Monster Hunter Portable 2nd (with 400,000 pre-orders, I don’t think they need one either), it does makes me wonder how Capcom will top the previous one. The opening movie still being kept secret, but a few images has been released and I must say they are looking awesome. More information and images after the jump. Via Gpara.com and Impress Watch.

Also revealed was a new hunting ground for all aspiring monster hunters, it’s something looks like a ruined tower and I wonder what kind of dangers await us here.

While Sony has already announced their special PSP pack for the game, Capcom own online shop “e-Capcom” also have some goodies for those who pre-order through the website. Muffler that comes in two colors based on the monster boar in the game to keep players warm while fighting monsters in the snow mountain and to celebrate the year of boar.
