Musou Orochi Revealed

Musou OrochiKoei is bringing Musou Orochi, the action game featuring characters from Dynasty Warriors (Shin Sangoku Musou in Japan) and Samurai Warriors (Sengoku Musou in Japan) series, to the PSP next February in Japan. The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals some of the features of the game, which came out on PS2 and Xbox 360 earlier this year.

One of the main features is the ability to take on the Story mode with a PSP owning friend. A total of 79 characters, the same amount with the console versions, are available in the game. To make the game more suitable for portable gaming, character cut-ins during gameplay won’t pause the game. The last PSP game based on any of the series was more than a year ago, so it’s great to see they are back with this crossover.

More info and screens are expected this Friday, when the magazine come out. You can check out the console versions screens at the official website.

Update: English version coming up as well? GameFly has Warriors: Orochi, the official English title for the console versions, listed for March 27th release. (Thanks JeremyR!)

Interestingly enough, Gamefly has this for a March 27th 08 release in the US. And they had it listed before those Famitsu scans surfaced.
