NIS Reveals Plans For Hero Transformation

Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku

Nippon Ichi finally revealed its “Hero Transformation Project” in the latest issue of DengekiPlayStation (now online) and it’s an “Dungeon RPG” featuring a newbie hero who accidentally acquired some world-saving skills. Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku (roughly translate at Ultimate Hero Transformation Plan) is currently being made by the Disgaea team and is set for release in 2010. More info after the jump.

Our hero (players get to set his name themselves) met a dying young hero who pass him a belt that can turn him into a “Makerennoja” and he got thrown into a battle with a monster immediately.

Dungeon RPG

You will moving around the game world alone and the dungeons are randomly generated. Throwing, Enemy Search, Alchemy and Attack Chance are among the original elements promised for the game system.

Hero Customization

Zettai Hero Kaizou Keikaku

Though not many details were revealed in the online version of this report, customization plays a big part in the game. You can customize your character’s head (with items like Devil Mask), right arm (Magic Belt, Short Sword), left arm and leg (Tank). These items can be found in different parts of the dungeons.

    believe me if NIS somehow put their own brand of fun on this, they don’t need to spent more, and nah that’s not 8 bit
