Kadokawa Shoten’s popular comic series Lucky Star is coming to PSP in the form of a simulation game called Lucky Star: Net Idol Meister. Apparently Akihabara needs more star power and you will be a manager with the task of nurturing the characters in the comic to become an Internet idol and form a pop group.

Characters

All the characters in the comic series will make their appearance and according to Famitsu, original characters created for previous Lucky Star games will be included too.

Game System

Your task will be to discover Konata and company in their respective towns (Konata’s town is called err… Konatown :) and bring them to Akiba for various activities that will increase their popularity. The game is called Net Idol Meister so making sure they are at least equally popular in the cyber space of the game is crucial too. The “Internet” in the game will have its own auction sites, online shops and video portal (Google becomes Geagle in the game…). Finally, and just like real life, every idols must have their own blogs.

Mini-Games

The activities your idols can do are stuff like audition and part-time job, where your task will be picking the right costume for the job to increase their popularity. There are also various mini-games that will help you succeed in audition.
