Matte Bronze PSP was not the only Sony Japan announcement yesterday, a couple of new peripherals were revealed together with the new date for Skype in Japan. The PSP-2000 only (Slim & Lite) “Cradle & D-Terminal Cable” lets owners watch movies or TV via the Japan-only 1seg Tuner while charging at the same time. The D-Terminal Cable allows them to output video to a TV from the PSP. The price is 4,800 Yen (around $47). A card-shape remote control for use with the cradle was announced as well, the price for the cardle and remote control bundle is 6,500 Yen (around $63). Both will be available from April 24th, the same date as Matte Bronze PSP.

On the other hand, the delayed Skype service in Japan will now launch in two weeks time, March 18th. Colors and the 1seg TV Tuner have done wonder for PSP sales in Japan lately and Sony is clearly taking advantage of that. More images via Gpara after the jump.
