Phantasy Star Hitting Japan This July

From the updated product page at Rakuten, it appears that Sega’s highly anticipated game Phantasy Star Portable will be in Japanese stores this July 31st. The game has been really quiet since its playable outing in Tokyo Game Show 2008.
Based on Phantasy Star Universe (PSU) and its expansion Phantasy Star Universe: Ambition of the Illuminusm with new elements for the PSP, Phantasy Star Portable is an attempt by Sega to enter the multiplayer market that Monster Hunter Portable series has so successfully opened up.
Among the new stuff here are a new original story, multiple endings, new characters, more than 1,500 new items, new bosses, illustration gallery and downloadable missions.
