E3 2008: Resistance & Super Stardust Go Portable
Though not really the star of Sony’s E3 2008 presentation, the PSP segment do get a few surprises. The best one for me is Sega’s uniquely styled strategy game Valkyria Chronicles. The video shows the game looking exactly like the PS3 version, only smaller but still with the cool watercolor style. Other surprises are also PS3 spin-offs, Resistance Retribution and Super Stardust Portable. The former is Insomiac’s FPS and it is coming to PSP as third person shooter with Sony Bend (Syphon Filter series) the developers. The latter looks as addictive as the PS3 version. Will post more info and screens later.
Update: Valkyria Chronicles turn out to be some video editing mistakes, sigh…

Seems like Valkyria for PSP was a screw-up. Checked Sony’s PR and no mention of it being on the PSP. Instead, it’s a PS3 title and I don’t recall seeing it on the PS3 game montage.
Let’s hope I’m wrong.
