Rezel Cross Official Website

Rezel CrossThe Japanese version of Rezel Cross was supposed to come out last month but obviously it didn’t and the new date is now being set at September. The official website has been launched with plenty of nice artworks, including details on two of the five main characters, Isle and Leifa.

The Chinese version of the game was released last February in Hong Kong and Taiwan. The ARPG is being developed by SCE Japan Studio with character design by Eiji Kaneda of the anime series Aquarion fame. A mysterious comet sets the stage for the 20-chapter story in a fantasy world. Five heroes who got in contact with the comet found themselves in possess of a special power called “Rezel”. However, they soon found themselves on a path to fight against an evil empire that intend to make bad use of the special power.

The game features 3D characters on 2D backgrounds. Players will be able to play all the five characters throughout the game. The battle system uses an interface that’s not unlike PSP very own XMB. Each characters will have their own special abilities and gain experience in a special system called Rezel Mapping. New skills can be learned by collecting “Gem” throughout the game. You can buy the Chinese version at Play-Asia.com or visit the official Japanese site to check out some nice character artworks.
