Sega Welcomes Hatsune Miku To PSP
While I’m certainly not a music person, Rhythm Tengoku Gold, Daigasso! Band Brothers DX and KORG DS-10 Synthesizer on the DS really caught my eye for their popularity and wish I can try them out myself. So Sega’s decision to create a game based on singing synthesizer program Vocaloid sounds interesting. However, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva isn’t exactly like the first Vocaloid2 application, which helps created many memorable songs on Nico Nico, but more of a rhythm game as highlighted in the Weekly Famitsu scans. Rhythm Game and Customization Mode were detailed and there seems to be a story that will push the game forward. The rewards for being good in the former allows players to decorate Miku’s room and watch her moves around in it. The game is currently 40% done and is set for release next year in Japan.
