[...] I like game related merchandise. I can't pretend that I don't get excited when I see Chocobo seat cushions and other such random wackiness. It's so kawaii, after all. But sometimes I feel like there is a strong line between merchandise that is awesome and merchandise that is simply whoring out the game series name, and I'm afraid I feel that the above item falls into the latter category. From PSP Hyper: [...]

[...] Who can deny the allure of toys based on our favorite games? Especially when the game is Final Fantasy VII, one of the best RPG’s ever created in the history of well, forever. Final Fantasy potions are now available in Japan, at the measly cost of $32USD. These awesome potion vials contain liquid with Vitamin B1 to replenish the health that you lose fighting against the bad guys aka avoiding your boss so that you don’t have to do any work. Once you drink that good stuff, you can always fill the vial up with some liquor ($599USD does not condone irresponsible drinking habits) and pretend that you’re just a game geek with a potion vial full of Phoenix Down. That’ll keep people from asking questions. You also get a neat little box and a book with some info on all of the games based on FFVII. Now look at these pictures and drool. [...]
