SCEJ has put up a press release announcing the slimmer and lighter PSP as well. The colors available are the same with the North America variations and the trio are set for September release. September is a busy month for PSP gamers as well, with games like Fate! Tiger Colosseum, R-Type Tactics, Wangan Midnight Portable and that Square Enix title named Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII all set for release during the month of Tokyo Game Show. Could the new PSP (no official name for it just yet) be the reason Square Enix holding from announcing Crisis Core’s special pack? A faster loading, lighter and longer battery life system seems perfect fit for a game that looks set to take the PSP by storm.
