Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny Announced For US

Besides Tekken 6, Namco also announced Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny for PSP, which is set for release this summer. The game will be based on Soul Calibur IV (but not a port, according to Namco) but without Yoda, Darth Vader and the Apprentice. However, we will get a new character called Dampierre, new lighting system so stages will have different times of day, deeper character customization options, enhancements to the game’s system and a new single player mode. The latter is an “enhanced tutorial” aimed at beginners. Read GameSpot’s first look of the game here, more screens can be found here.
In another news, Capcom confirms that Fate/Unlimited Codes (called Fate/Unlimited Codes Portable in Japan) will be released in US as a PSN download only title this summer. The fighting game based on the hugely popular eroge series Fate/Stay Night is set for release this June in Japan.
