Square: Birth by Sleep & 3rd Birthday Development Status
Missed this piece of minor info in issue 6/5 of Weekly Famitsu (the issue before last), where the mag interviewed Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days‘ director Tetsuya Nomura and his assistant Tomohiro Hasegawa for the launch of the DS game (read my translation here). A little footnote (scan here) tell us the status of the two known Kingdom Hearts projects. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is currently at voice recording stage while Kingdom Hearts Coded for mobiles will be available for download on June 30th in Japan. On the other hand, the first few stages of The 3rd Birthday, another PSP title currently under development, is already playable. Famitsu think that both PSP games should be at Tokyo Game Show 2009.

hmm… well, a lot to look forwards to on psp :) i am glad… well, when psp go is out, i will certainly get one. lets hope in china there is a way to access psn…

June 18th, 2009 at 4:20 amNot only that they are working on a english FF 13, but they are also making a Final Fantasy 14. God, when will that series end? They should just combine the Kingdom Hearts storyline with the Final Fantasy storyline. It would be all just one game, Kingdom Fantasy or Final Hearts.
