Tales of the World Coming To The US
It has been a while since a nice surprise happens on the PSP (God of War PSP is big news, but thanks to the Internet, it’s not surprising), but Namco Bandai finally answers the calls of their “Tales of” fans and bring over Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology to the US. IGN broke the news today in a Q&A with Namco Bandai, unfortunately there is no firm date given, though we should be able to play it in the third quarter of the year.
The game is an original entry in the series and the PSP, many of the characters from the previous titles in the series are brought in. As for the main character, it will be created by the players at the start of the game. There will be plenty of connections and references to the previous titles in the series, which is great news for “Tales of” fans but Namco assures that players new to the series will have no problems enjoying the game as well.
The Japanese version of the game sold well in the Japan when it was released last December and it’s nice to know that Namco are tuning the game so that it’s even better now. As for news on other “Tales of” games that were release on the PSP so far, Namco is teasing us that “such possibilities do indeed exist”.
