The Characters of Sengoku Basara Battle Heroes

Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes

Sengoku Basara: Battle Heroes is Devil May Cry 4’s producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi first ever handheld project. In an interview with Weekly Famitsu, he said PSP was picked as the platform because of its growing user base and shorter development time.

Instead of the trademark lone guy against thousands of enemies style of gameplay or the 1vs1 in Sengoku Basara X, he feels 2on2 team battle, especially with multiplayer, is more appropriate for PSP. However, the game will also be fun if you choose to play alone with your partner controlled by the computer. To avoid it become a fighting game, a special gauge for team performance was added so that it’s more of an action game and players can recover to fight again if they lose.

Onto the character roster, Kobayashi said there will be many, here are the six characters revealed so far.
