A series of announcements from Square Enix kind of outshine one of the biggest announcement for PSP in recent months, but Namco’s three IdolMaster games should continues to put PSP in the news and generates lots of sales when they are released this winter in Japan. A bunch of new screens for The iDOLM@STER SP: Missing Moon, The iDOLM@STER SP: Perfect Sun and The iDOLM@STER SP: Wandering Star are now online, chance to find out more about the cool stuff that the PSP versions will get.

As in the arcade and Xbox 360 versions, you will still be the newbie producer at fictional 765 Production Studio and your job is to turn a young idol into the real superstar.

Daily Routine

A day in the life of a producer, here’s what you’ll do for the most part of the game in your quest to be an IdolMaster.

1. Like real life and a new feature for PSP, checking email is the first thing most people will do. There will be requests from magazines for interviews, appointments with make-up artists or fans letters to your idol.

2. Meet up with your idol and pick a gesture from the expanded greeting options to greet her.

3. Get the latest entertainment news and suggestions on how to manage your idol from your 55-year-old boss.

4. Preparing the schedule of your idol. For the first time in the series, there will be morning-daytime-night cycle.

There are many ways to improve the image of your idol.

Repertoire Select

Make sure you pick the right song :)

Lyric Lesson

You can improve your idol’s abilities through mini games. Lyric lesson requires you to re-arrange a messed up lyric to improve her singing.

Dance Lesson

A rhythm game (match the direction of the foot steps with the direction buttons) to improve her dancing.

Expression Lesson

Management

Part of the game will progress like typical adventure games, click from a selection of messages to greet your idol in order to make progress. The right conversation can create “memorable moments” that will help her during audition.

The Audition

Get past the audition in order to make TV appearances.

TV Appreance

The stage to win the most fans. You can also take photo of your idol on stage.
