Weekly Famitsu gave Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep a 10-page feature including interviews with Tetsuya Nomura and music composer Yoko Shimomura in its latest issue. KH fans will surely have read the translation elsewhere but here it is if you haven’t. Since the game will be out in a few days’ time, you probably want to skip this if you’re worry about spoilers :)

This is probably the best trailer I have watched for a PSP game this year and it comes from Square Enix for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. The trailer is up-to-date with the latest mag reports, some even say it includes scenes from the secret movie viewable once you cleared the game. Again, January 9th is the Japanese release date.

Not exactly new as the version without CERO rating has been around for quite some time but this is final box art for Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep (click for ultra large version). Note that the PlayStation Network logo (like the one on Phantasy Star Portable 2’s box art) is no where to be seen, which means we can’t save on shipping and download it off the Japanese PSN. Really unfortunate and something that result in the really poor sales of PSP go. Those who can read Japanese (or if you don’t mind playing the game with guides) can check out Play-Asia ($59.90) or YesAsia ($67.99) for pre-orders. The release date again is January 9th in Japan.

With the game coming out in less than a month’s time in Japan and constantly the most viewed item in Play-Asia ($59.90), Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep is without a doubt the biggest PSP games since Dissidia Final Fantasy came out late last year. The latest Weekly Famitsu report shared plenty of details about the game, including Mickey Mouse, who are still an apprentice here; the surprise appearance of Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII’s Zack Fair; and last but not least, what we can expect from the multiplayer mode.

Without a doubt the next hottest PSP game is Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, which will be out early next month in Japan. It’s $59.90 at Play-Asia if you are pre-ordering. Not importing this myself, far too many games to complete…

KHInsider has the latest V Jump scan on Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, which shows a new enemy who kidnapped Master Xehanort. On the other hand, Ventus up against what looks like Organisation XIII members. The second scan show Disney Town in festive mood and also a multiplayer (include both co-op and versus) exclusive world called Mirage Arena.

Square Enix reveals the design for the special edition PSP-3000 that will be bundled with Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep when it’s out in Japan this January. What do you think? Simple and nice for me. The bundle will cost ¥ 22,000 in Japan. Play-Asia currently have the game itself available for pre-order at $59.90.

More frequent news for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep nowadays, which is really a good thing. Not really sure what Dimension Link does though but seems to be a system that let players “borrow” the skills of other characters in the game for powerful finishing skills. Kingdom Hearts fans already seen or read better translation of the recent massive 11-page blowout that Weekly Famitsu (online version here) did for Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. But here’s another translation based on the mag to keep myself updated and also a chance to post some of the new screens taken from the newly re-launch official site :)
Note: Director Tetsuya Nomura’s comments during the interview are included.
