The next company to give its series the 3D fighting treatments is Falcom, who is set to announce Ys Vs Sora no Kiseki this week based on early leaks of the latest issue of DengekiPlayStation. As the title suggests, the game will features characters from two of the company most popular series, those confirmed so far appeared to be Adol, Dogi (screen with them in Ys Seven above) and Olha for Ys with Joshua, Tita and Estelle representing Sora no Kiseki. They will be featured in the story mode and up to four characters can join a battle. The game will come out sometime next year in Japan.

Falcom latest loves for PSP doesn’t ends there as the company also announce the port of Ys: The Oath in Felghana to our system next April. Hope both of them will come to US eventually but at this moment, I will be happy to see both Ys I&II Chronicles and Ys Seven get translated.

So glad this is coming to PSP first. Dengeki’s staffs played a fair bit of Ys Seven and they call it “Absolute fun”, which is not hard to see from these screens. The game will be out in Japan in less than 3 weeks’ time.

Covers for a couple of games that I’m getting. Ys I&II Chronicles and Boku no Natsuyasumi 4: Seitouchi Shounen Tanteidan, Boku to Himitsu no Chizu will be out in Japan on July 16th and July 2nd respectively (will probably wait for a possible English release of the former).

DengekiOnline offers a sneak peek of the new characters for Ys Seven being reported in the latest issue of DengekiPlayStation. Expect plenty of new screens this weekend.

The “System” page of Ys I&II Chronicles‘ official website opened today with information on the action elements of the game, its bosses and the “Time Attack” mode which has four difficulty settings for players to choose. I actually prefer the graphics of this port more than the Ys Seven’s version, check them out after the jump.

A couple of (new?) characters were revealed for Ys Seven in the upcoming issue of Dengeki PlayStation mag. Gush apparently appeared in Ys VI before and Scias is a member of the Dragon Knights. Click on the image above for a few new screens from the game.

Falcom released this PV for Ys I&II Chronicles showing plenty of animated cut scenes, gameplay and the new elements for the PSP version, which will come out in Japan this July. Definitely getting this if there is an English version.

The latest batch of screenshots for Ys Seven introduce the facilities in Altago, a port city where the story of the game will takes place (Central Plaza above). A new illustrations for the characters were also shown, check them out after the jump.
