Sweet Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star Trailer

Really looking forward to this. Game Arts is remaking Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star and this trailer explain some of the new stuff, including its heavyweight production team, new scenarios, new graphics and the digitally remastered animated movie. The game will be out in Japan this November (and December for US).

Producer: Valkyria Chronicles 2’s Content Will Surpass The Original

Senjou no Valkyria 2

Two years after sending the Imperial forces home, Gallia’s tired militia forces couldn’t handle a civil war at the south of the country, where the Gallian Revolutionary Army started a war against the Darcsens race. Since forming a new militia squad (like Squad 7 in the first game) for civil war isn’t allowed in the country, the government decided to seek the helps of our innocent-looking students from Gallia Royal Academy. Full details of Senjou no Valkyria 2 (aka Valkyria Chronicles 2), including new screens and translation of the interview with Chief Producer Shuntaro Tanaka in the recent Weekly Famitsu after the jump.

God Eater Screens Galore

God Eater

Hunt or be hunted, that’s how Famitsu opens their intro of God Eater in their exclusive scoop a couple of weeks ago, which is almost the exact same tagline Capcom has used before for Monster Hunter Portable series. Not sure if similarities such as this are a good thing or not but I feel they kind of overshadow the many interesting concepts that are unique to God Eater. Tons of screens, including cool concept arts, from the game got released to Japanese medias recently and time to see if the game has enough original stuff to put down MHP 2ndG temporary or not.

God Eater

Bandai Namco assembles a very interesting group of staff for the game. Its producer is Shinichiro Okamoto, whose previous works include Xenosaga, Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Hearts; the developers are Shift, who have made several Ape Escape games for PSP; Go Shiina composed musics for Tales of series and iDOLM@STER before; character designer Sogabe Shuji is the guy behind the Persona manga; and last but not least famous graphic designers PowerGraphixx drawn the logo and visual arts.

There are also rumors going around that the game is set for release this September in Japan, which is always a good news because that could also means quicker release of the English version by Xseed.

New Scan Reveals More Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star Screens

Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is featured in Otonafami, another Enterbrain publication, this week (click on image for full view). Basically a repeat of the previous report with plenty of new screens. Three more characters are shown, they are Killy, Jessica and Mia. Also good to know that all the CG animation in the game will be digitally remastered. Finally, those who pre-order the game in Japan will receive a copy of the game’s original soundtrack CD. Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star will be out in Japan and US this fall.
