Really looking forward to this. Game Arts is remaking Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star and this trailer explain some of the new stuff, including its heavyweight production team, new scenarios, new graphics and the digitally remastered animated movie. The game will be out in Japan this November (and December for US).

Plenty of nice new screens for Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star from a very sharp Famitsu scan (click for larger view). We get to see a few screens from the early chapters and the improved interface design for the battle system.

Gungho, the Japanese publisher for Game Arts’ sweet looking remake of the first Lunar game, Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star, has updated the game’s official website with plenty of character profiles. There are also rumors going around that the game is set for release this September in Japan, which is always a good news because that could also means quicker release of the English version by Xseed.

Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is featured in Otonafami, another Enterbrain publication, this week (click on image for full view). Basically a repeat of the previous report with plenty of new screens. Three more characters are shown, they are Killy, Jessica and Mia. Also good to know that all the CG animation in the game will be digitally remastered. Finally, those who pre-order the game in Japan will receive a copy of the game’s original soundtrack CD. Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star will be out in Japan and US this fall.

Planning on getting Yuusha 30? Well, you probably want to wait a little as Xseed has confirmed the title for US release and its new name will be Half-Minute Hero. The game came out in Japan last Thursday and apparently got off to a worrying start with around 13,000 copies start (or 20% of its initial shipment), will see how it does over the weekend. But I will surely get the English version when it come out this fall. Read my many coverage on the game here.

Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star localization for US (to be called Lunar: Silver Star Harmony) is hardly surprising I think but it’s still great to get the confirmation. It’s even better to know that it will probably come out around the same time as the Japanese version, which is this fall. Gungho Works and Konami launched the official websites of their newly announced games today. Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star is just a teaser with only the basic info in but Konami outlined the new stuff you’ll see in Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Portable 4, the latest iteration of their hot selling baseball sim with big head characters. As part of its “7 Super Big Scoop”, the upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Lunar: Harmony of Silver Star for the PSP. To be published by Gungho Works, the RPG is a remake of the first game in the series Lunar: The Silver Star (Mega CD, 1992) and its enhanced version Lunar: Silver Star Story Complete (Sega Saturn, 1996). The new graphics look cool (click on the image above for full view, super hi-res version available here), the game will be out this fall in Japan.

Konami’s Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball Portable will be having its annual release again, the previous game did superbly well for the company. Another new game from Konami is Okamikakushi (mag picture here), which was officially announced last month, is a “Mystery Adventure Novel” with Ryukishi07 of Higurashi fame the director and PEACH-PIT (creators of the Rozen Maiden manga) the character designers.

Also announced in the mag is the release date for Monster Hunter 3 (tri), which will now come out on August 1st. There are also more information on the Limited Edition and the weapons, will update them to the guide section soon.
