MGS Peace Walker Second Night Trailer: Sneaking With Partner

Thanks to these gameplay videos (first one can be seen here), I’m now really excited for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Not only this looks like a PSP game with the deepest gameplay, it also looks so cool especially with those sleek interface. The Japanese version will be out near the end of next month. Bookmarked this page at Play-Asia to see how much the Premium Pack that will comes with a special edition PSP-3000 cost.

Peace Walker: The MGS5 of Hideo Kojima

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

I think we all have some basic ideas about Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker by now but here’s what the recent 5-page Weekly Famitsu feature talk about the game.

The game is set to explain what happened during the series’ “blank period” of 20 years that started mid 1970s. Costa Rica, a country without military since 1949, is the stage for the story. Apparently some unknown powers are said to have set their eye on countries like them. As a result, Snake begins to build a new army without military alliances (that would later becomes Outer Heaven) with the purpose of helping them.

E309: Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker First Screens

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

So the longest ever countdown page for a game turn out to be a PSP title? I’m still confused at which teaser belongs to Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker actually. But it doesn’t matter anymore as I’m just excited that we’ve a new MGS to play again. MGS fans, any ideas why four Snake?

E309: PSP Going Game Crazy

Resident Evil Portable

Starting with Kaz Hirai introducing PSP Go, Sony’s E3 conference gives us a slew of big titles for our handheld. Almost too many to believe :) Gran Turismo Mobile with its 800 cars, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker with four Snake (!) and a completely new Resident Evil for PSP will surely be the highlights. But there are a few more hiding in the sizzle trailer, including Jak & Daxter, Fat Princess, Hot Shot Tennis and more.

Going back to PSP Go, the real downer is probably the price, $250, which is the same price when I bought my PSP-1000. The launch date is October 1st in US with GT among the launch titles and a month later in Japan.

So, are you happy with the announcements so far?

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker To Be Announced For PSP?

Metal Gear Solid

Looks like Konami submitted something too early to Games Press, the site where people get their gaming press releases and assets. Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is being listed and apparently coming to PSP Go in 2010 (screencap after the jump). Could this be the game that the “Mask” website (above) is teasing about? Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops was one of my most memorable game for PSP, so this is a really great news.

Update: Mask turn out to be a teaser for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow on PS3 and Xbox 360.
