The second Download Mission for Phantasy Star Portable 2 has arrived and as revealed in one of the collaboration news, Sony’s mascot Toro and Kuro will be featured in the game. Not sure what the quest is about to be honest but you’ll be able to include the duo in your party once you cleared the mission.

Sega Promotes Valkyria Chronicles 2 With Phantasy Star Portable 2

This shouldn’t be too surprising but really nice to know that Phantasy Star Portable 2’s heroine Emilia will make her guest appearances in Valkyria Chronicles 2… only if you own both games as the latter will look for PSP2 save data in your memory stick before unlocking missions with her in. There will be two missions for her and the rewards are stickers to customize your tank.

The Five Top Enhancements of Phantasy Star Portable 2 In Video

Didn’t keep in touch with the amount of enhancements that Sega say they are making to Phantasy Star Portable 2 but this video looks to have cover them all.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Demo Available On November 1st

As the above picture from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu shows (click for larger view), there are six weeks to go before the Japanese release of Phantasy Star Portable 2 but Sega ease the pain of waiting a little by announcing that a demo will be available for download on November 1st, which is also the launch of PSPgo in Japan.

The demo will allows us to check out the first chapter of the game, a couple of game modes (Free Mission and Versus Mission), local multiplayer (level cap at 15), Infrastructure play for selected players and check out part of the collaboration items. Your save data can be carried over to the actual game when it’s release this December.

Phantasy Star Portable 2 Prologue & Opening Movie

The official Japanese website of Phantasy Star Portable 2 has quite a bit of information right now, including this great looking trailer which introduce us to the world of PSP2 with scenes from the opening movie. Also another nice theme song (called “Living Universe”) right there by Hideaki Kobayashi.
