One crucial change to Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida: 3D (aka Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman) is the abilities to upgrade your pickaxe, which will has some effects on your strategies to the tower defense style game. You can upgrade your tool using special orbs dropped by the heroes once you’ve kill them. And if you still have save data of previous games in your memory stick, you can unlock special pickaxe right before the game starts. Screens from the game after the jump, the release date is March 2010 in Japan.

Didn’t follow Bleach: Soul Carnival 2 close enough to know what are the new stuff in Sony’s side-scrolling action game based on the popular series. But if you played the first game, these 80+ screens should tell you what are the upgrades. Three more days to go before its simultaneous UMD and PSN release in Japan. There’s an Asia version which Play-Asia says is in English, which I am pretty sure it’s a typo since none of the Bleach games on PSP have been translated so far. If anything, it should be Chinese since the first game also came in that language.
I posted the screens to the profiles page, view it here.

So this is what SCEJ has been teasing for in the last few days, 1 Million Ton’s Bara Bara (not sure about the title :) is another quirky looking title from Acquire (who did Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman: What Did I Do to Deserve This? with Rideon). The game requires players to “attack huge battleships and destroy it piece by piece” according to summary posted by the Japanese blogs. The visuals look fantastic, as shown in the countdown site.

This week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu shows The Eye of Judgement: Shintaku no Wizard (The Eye of Judgement: Wizard of Oracle?) among the content list. Got pretty excited for the PS3 version but didn’t buy it, hope to check this out when it came out. The genre listed is obviously TCG (Trading Card Game), more information when they become available. Plenty of other PSP games listed in the content but most of them strategy guides for recently released games.
Update: The game will be out in March 2010 and you can expect a demo soon.

Although the teaser was pretty obvious, I’m really happy at the announcement of Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida: 3D in the upcoming issue of Weekly Famitsu. The 3rd game to the retro-style dungeon management game (the first game is called Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman: What Did I Do to Deserve This? in the US) is not going 3D as the title might suggests but we are getting more content in the form of three new different dungeons (previous games only have one). The first dungeon is called Main Dungeon and is the standard dungeon we have been playing so far but Sony is keeping info of the next two dungeons for future reports.
Besides new monsters, water (called Devil Water) will play a big part in the game now as seen in the scan above (click for full view). Not really sure how it works yet though. Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida: 3D has no official date and price yet in Japan but it’s a day one purchase for me again :)

Looks like there is a tennis game that I can play :) Minna no Tennis Portable (Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip in the US) is coming to Japan this winter with all the features that the “Minna no” series is known for. Simple controls (triangle for lop, circle for top spin and X for slice), rich customization options and the adventure game style Challenge Mode that requires players to talk to the characters at each venue before taking them on. More screens, including those breathtaking venues after the jump.
