Soil Nutrition

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2

It’s important to know what kind of creatures a particular type of soil can create, the illustration above should gives you a good idea of the nutrients and creatures that you can make in the early stages.

Soil accumulate nutrients over time, but not without the helps of the creatures, here are the various ways to ‘power-up’ a soil so that they can give birth to the creatures you want:

  1. Being touched on by Moss and Element type creatures
  2. Creatures with nutrients die next to it (tips: kill these creatures to quicken the fertilization process)
  3. Knock on the mushroom to kill them
  4. Heroes die next to it
  5. Heroes launch special attacks or magics

Soil Fertilization

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2In order to effectively fertilize those soil blocks, it’s important to know how the Mosses and Elements move. They move only in straight line by default until a wall is hit and depending on how you dig your dungeon, will change their directions sometimes. In this example, if your goal is for the Mosses to move to right, it’s a good idea to dig a hole in the red colored block of “Good” example so that there is higher chance of them doing so. Digging a hole in position shown in the “Bad” example will only forces the Moss to reverse and never move to right.

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2Personally, I’m not very sure how effective this can be. But making “rooms” is one of the most common strategies in Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida. Both Room 1 and Room 2 in the illustration on the left can keep a big amount of Mosses or Elements in them, constantly producing nutrients in the process. The down side to this is when their predators come, the entire room will be empty pretty fast if you fail to keep track.

Yuusha no Kuse ni Namaikida or 2Probably the best way to make the highest level soil is with a H shape room or make a 3×3 room (not illustrated) like Room 1 above but leave a block in the middle of the room. The Mosses and Elements will constantly fertilize it and you should be able to get a Lizard or Dragon pretty quick with this method. Ladder Paths (shown left) with plenty of creatures passing by is a great way of soil fertilization too but it takes a little longer.

Ecosystem

Besides fertilization, it’s important to at least know the basic idea of the ecosystem in the game too because without food, even the higher level creatures can’t survive more than two hits from the more powerful heroes. All the level 2 and above creatures need food to become stronger, and they do so by eating creatures one level below them. The illustration above shows who eat who.

Mutations

New in or2 is creature mutations. When the ecosystem is imbalance and some of your creatures is facing extinction, they will mutate to a new species to adapt. Only the Moss, Insect, Lizard, Element and Lilith have this characteristic and the mutation can be good or bad depends on which of the four mutation branch they follow. The four branches are :

Fundamental
Happens when under attack from heroes, the best mutations there is.
Abnormal
Mutate when there are too many predators, will unleash special attack but has low health and attacking power.
Gigantic
Mutate when starving, has higher health and stronger attack but move very slowly.
Pure
The useless type, will not hunt or reproduce.
